February 20, 200818 yr comment_37436 Just like me, I still haven't bought and read the Touch. The absence of any Wamphyri Lord and those aliens are well...scaring me off a little. Report
February 21, 200818 yr comment_37452 Hi all. I'm a long time fan of Brian Lumley's works, read the Psycho--- trilogy, his Lovecraft inspired works and all 14 books of the Necroscope Saga. Yes, The Touch is a slight departure from the Necroscope universe, but, it does act as a bridge to some of BL's other works. As a true fan of BL's I'd say buy it, if nothing else it's good addition to your shelf. Yes, "The Touch" is different from his other books. All I'd say is BL has been writing for twenty odd years. Just give his writing a chance to change. Report
February 27, 200818 yr comment_37497 i think it would be cool to have a series from shaitains time to the arrival of the dweller i think there are a lot of stories waiting in the little we learn of it in the source, deadspawn and resurgence:the lost years. I also quite enjoy the old history as retold in the first two books and i think brian lumley could tell tales that include another bloodsucker from the past (something along the lines of the lost years). The touch was a little off but just as good although the foes were different read was pretty good. One other thing i think would be good is to touch upon our world of the future at the end of avengers or even to explore some other worlds or dimensions using the mobious continuum. Report
