I'm delighted to announce that I've successfully encouraged my brother, Philip, to read the Necroscope books. As a Christmas gift I bought him the first novel, and Vamphyri. He quickly read the first installment and really liked it. And this evening he sent me an offline message reporting how much he is enjoying Vamphyri. He explained that in Chapter 5 pages 134-138, where George spied Yulian and Helen Ann shagging in the copse. Then George attacks Yulian and follows him into the cellar to find Georgina and Helen Ann being consumed by what Philip referred to as a "slug".

 

Philip told me that reading that part made his heart beat in his chest like never before.

 

Next is my girlfriend, Stephanie. I'm loaning her the first book to read. She's scanned over the excerpts on the back of the Necro books in my collection, and is very interested. I hope she likes them. Me, I just bought The Touch last night...

Thats awesome to hear that you have brought someone over to the necroscope side maybe we will be seeing Philip here in the future! I have been trying to get a buddy of mine at work hooked, im going to take him the first book tomorrow and we will see how it goes from there! And ive been trying to get my wife to read them for years with no avail, maybe if the movie comes out and she see's that dhe might want to read them!

I have to say that it is indeed quite fun to addict people to Necroscope! Way to go!

I myself sent a book home with our new friends from church when they came over to check out the batlith yesterday.

As to he who is trying to hook is wife. I am sorry for you that she has yet to be converted. I'm lucky that I converted mine before we were married, unforutanetly since my books are still back in Ohio at my grandmother's he's stuck waiting fur book 4 until we can find it at the library.
