Got a bit crispy round the edges by flame throwers and got himself killed.

Anyone who has read Necroscope knows that E-branch HQ was on the top floor of a hotel near Whitehall. My question is this, what did the manager of the hotel think they were, ie all the members of E-Branch?

I know this answer, its in the back of my mind right now and its annoying me so i know this is wrong but ill guess anyway.

Diplomats?

Ah, new blood to the boards. Welcome Dr Freudenstein with the correct answer as well. Go for it.

BTW wasn't Dr Freudenstein the mad doctor in Lucio Fulci's "The House By the Cemetery"?

Necropaedia

Yeah it was Dr. Freudstein, I made a mistake when creating the name was

listening to The Siege and Investiture of Baron von Frankenstein's Castle at Weisseria by Blue Öyster Club so freudstein came out as freudenstein

Yeah it was Dr. Freudstein

If only I'd read your location at the top of your post, I guess it would have been obvious. Still, at least everyone else will get the reference now.

Next Question:

Who was the "spick-'n-span" cleaning lady at the E-Branch offices?

Necropaedia

Hmmmmmmm il go with this question then.

In the Necroscope series who is the VERY FIRST character you are introduced to?

Mrs Wills

Being it's been 3 days since Hia answered the question, I will verify her answer as correct...

Half right, but I'll let it go.

It was Meg (Margaret?) Wills.

She was something of a necroscope in her own right IMHO, still being in touch with her late husband Jim.

Didn't mean to butt in there, seems this topic picked up a little in the last couple weeks and I wanted to keep it rolling along. Thanks.

Dang! I can't believe y'all have kept this thing going all these years!

Hia, where are you to confirm the answer was Alec Kyle, or it's back to Dark Cyder.

Can't confirm it as i don't know if Hia got the question from the Prologue or Chapter 1, because they are different answers.

Prologue- the hotel manager.

Chapter 1- Gregor Borowitz.
