Hi all :),first time on ,any other Irish Brian fans out there, came across Necroscope in '93,fan ever since,I hope Hollywood doesn't mess up movie, can't wait for Harry and the Pirates, any one else think Faethor needs to be somehow brought back for one more book or am I just grasping at straws for more Necroscope.

Hey mate!

Yup, I'm Irish too.

Been reading Brian's works since early/mid 90's myself!

Managed to turn a few others too, although they are not really net people, so have never seen the site..

Hey Nicko, glad to hear of fellow irishman turning others, suckers don't know what they're missing,:Dwas talking to other lumlian today who thinks maybe Government should have some sort of E-Branch to get country moving again, methink it needs something from the swamps,he he!

Any thoughts on Faethor comeback.

Welcome! I'm not Irish but I did enjoy a holiday there once many years ago, very beautiful countryside!

I'm not sure about a Faother comeback, it worked really well as the good guy/bad guy with Harry so without Harry I'm not sure it'd work as well, they were a double act.

Why don't you post the question in the Necroscope forum though, I'm sure people will enjoy debating it

Hey Ilya Sul,ancestors make you honorary Irishperson welcome to the fold.:D

Hey Silver, you could be right about good guy/bad guy but he is such a huge character, there has to be at least one more tale, preferably series but hey lets not be greedy:DI will post question on board thanks.

Ha

Whats the craic mate..

I doubt any E-Branch would be able to sort this place out at the moment..

Faethor was awesome, but personally, I'm a fan of Thibor..

Although, a bit more of their history with a focus on the Crusades or something would make a good read.

Agreed, bout Crusades at least but Thibor was always the pup to Faethors mind games, brains always beats brawn....

Also it would be great if maybe Faethor was around during the Irish famine, there certainly would have been plenty of victims around homeless, starving people looking for some kindly Lord to care for them,we know Harry had Irish ancestory, how ironic if his ancestors were thralls to Faethor along the way only to be discarded when Bram Stoker had the nerve to write about Vampires after hearing whispers............

Or something like that:D

Maybe I'd better lie down:o

Considering Thibor's impact on events even from his "grave" shows him to be quite devious, and powerful in his own rights.

While Faethor may have been his better, Thibor would make an interesting, if not bloody story..

I reckon covering more of the Crusades would be the best bet, as there were others around too that could be re-introduced.

Drakuls, Radu, etc
