August 19, 200916 yr comment_39664 I see lots of ppl discussing Ideas... and i cant help but wonder with a gaming ( PC or Xbox 360) if they did a movie ( as they tend to release games along side said movies) would u like play a Necroscope video game set up like an RPG ( and not Final fantasy) something a little more free moving then those.. Like an example..you play halo..you can play as master chief or go for Elites or brutes So why not..something different You can choose between E-Branch ( creating your own character while unlocking others) Or choose to play as a Vampire that would be the game 2 different endings depending on what u choose..then try the online bits play against other online, players as Ebranch or vampires...forming your own vampire clans."Clan Ferenczy"( in this case it would be those in your stack) or all out clan wars vampires against vampires... and finally unlocking all the ebranch characters including there Vampire selves the only thing i could see giving ppl problems is the server would have to massive ( kind of like City of heroes or city of villains) I know alot of ppl that would by it, that would play it..probably everyone reading this thread Its ideas like this that make me want to be a game designer ( but I suck at math) so one of u guys will have to pick up the ball Report
August 19, 200916 yr comment_39666 as far as the whole ratings things go ( Ersp) or whatever it is...this is not a kids game..nor should it be considered as one "Duh" funnier..most ppl gaming are at least 35 ( this was an actual statistic) I cant say anything...I was 14 when dad handed me the first necroscope book...so who in there right mind is gonna let there kid play this? rofl its all just an idea ( anyone ever play an online game called POSTAL) mass underground market... Lumley has a very large cult following if u ask me...if they see any necroscope title...we will pick it up and its all just here say and idea anyways...nothin happens till its in front of your eyes happening Report
August 19, 200916 yr comment_39668 That's a very good idea you have there Alucard, maybe Shadoe is in the know! Oh by the way welcome to the fold. Report
August 19, 200916 yr comment_39669 Thank u Kenny... to Quote Demond "you have to admit the "deadites" did actually look like human remains for the most part. I would much rather see an extremely well puppeteered, make-up, and prosthetic version of the great majority, than poorly done and not quite right CGI " well there is something to be said for costumed CGI ( like the dead from the Pirate of the caribean movies) course ...that is alot of costumed CGI to play with "how many suits"? puppets can u copy and make differntly dead then the others and probably way expensive.. erg...why does a book so good have to be soo hard to make a movie Report
August 20, 200916 yr comment_39673 Hello Alucard. A game would be great, there was actually one in the pipeline a few years back but it fell through unfortunately. I was only recently discussing the possibility and we decided that a Gears of War type thing might be good - same as you discribed with Halo, cogs and locusts = ebranch and vamps. Perhaps this should be a new thread, Necroscope the game? Report
September 1, 200916 yr comment_39744 Wow! Some epic long fail posts in there that have ruined the thread. Nice work! Report
September 2, 200916 yr comment_39769 you all know my opinion on this... if not then view my post Report
September 15, 200916 yr comment_40000 Im onto book 3 at the moment. There is no way they could tone down the Wamphyri. Imagine this. A figure steps through the bright light with a single boxing glove on his right hand!!! HAHAHA! Seriously tho i dont see how they couldnt do this correctly using cgi for the most difficult creatures - warriors, trogolodites, etc... but use big fookers for the wamphyri, after all they are flesh and blood just like humans. LOTR - in my opinion - is a very good example of this. AND give this film to peter jackson or Guillermo del Toro and were onto a winner!! And there would inevitably be a tie in game. There always is. But that can also be done well. The new Batman Arkham asylum game is awesome, I think the combat system would be suited for Harry jumping in and out of mobius doors. Report
