Posted June 26, 200916 yr comment_39270 I thought it was time to re-do this one, it's been ages since anyone posted what they were reading, if they liked it or not etc... So, I'm re-reading Robert Jordans The Wheel Of Time. I'm on book 6, Lord of Chaos and loving it. It's been ages since I read this series last and even though it doesn't have an ending which is very frustrating I still love it. So what about the rest of you, what are you reading?
June 26, 200916 yr comment_39272 At the moment i'm reading Conn Iggulden's Bones of The Hills, this is the third of the trilogy about the Mongol leader Ghengis Khan. In a word AWESOME. The hardships he endured, probably one of the greatest leaders of men in history.
June 26, 200916 yr comment_39274 World War Z - An oral history of the Zombie war by Max Brooks, pretty good actually. After that Fiasco - The American Military adventure in Iraq by Thomas E. Ricks
June 26, 200916 yr comment_39275 Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay. Got hooked on the tv show and decided to read what started it all - almost done and it is a really fun quick read.

June 29, 200916 yr comment_39309 I've never known anyone so well prepared in advance as that sdkdmd! Is that just what you've got unread on your shelf or did you actually sit down with pen and paper or something and devise that list? That's a list of what I'd read this year so far. I keep track of what I read on a couple other boards and when I saw your post I moved it over. When it come to unread books....I got about 75 or more books.
July 1, 200916 yr comment_39324 Dude, you have way too much time on your hands, I am jelous! The one board i keep track at, the other members are in the 50's and 60's books read. They read 2 and 3 books a week.
July 1, 200916 yr comment_39328 Holy Moly, where do you get the time to read all these books, either you are a speed reader or you don't sleep. Which is it?
July 2, 200916 yr comment_39332 I really don't know how someone could read that many books. I hear someone say: I read it in one sitting. What? How's that possible. I know one guy who post each month his books read for that month and it's in the 20's. I average about two books a month. A lot of what I'd read are novella's.
July 3, 200916 yr comment_39337 I'm reading the latest offerings by my favourite 'fluffy' writers (easy-read vampire/werewolf/etc nonsense!)... Laurell K Hamilton, Kelley Armstrong and Kim Harrison. Also must remember to order the final book in the Nightwatch series, by Sergei Lukyanenko.

July 30, 200915 yr Author comment_39582 I'm now up to book 9 of The Wheel of Time, Winter's Heart. Great news for anyone else out there who likes Robert Jordan (and I know there are one or two!). The next novel is due out early in November this year - finally! Apparently there are only 3 books left to finish the tale, one due out this year, one next and the final one in 2011. I just hope the new ones will still read like Robert Jordan - fingers crossed!

August 18, 200915 yr Author comment_39653 Ooh, is Harry and the Pirates good? No spoilers though please!
August 23, 200915 yr comment_39691 I've had it sat on the shelf for a while - I may get some time to read it in the coming weeks!
August 24, 200915 yr comment_39692 Patient Zero - Jonathan Maberry Awesome book, mixture of sci-fi, horror and terrorist crime. Reading it for the second time.
August 24, 200915 yr comment_39696 Ooh, is Harry and the Pirates good? No spoilers though please! Need you ask? I read the first story. While resting up at an old friend home Harry comes across a man who was accused of murder. Harry being Harry he has to help prove the man's innocences. So adventure begins. A hunt for a monster that has been lurking in the woods for thousands of years. Finishing up the second story probably tonight.
