August 25, 200915 yr Author comment_39698 Ooh, I like the sound of that. Of course I know it will be good, but as you've read it I had to ask!
August 25, 200915 yr comment_39702 Need you ask? I read the first story. While resting up at an old friend home Harry comes across a man who was accused of murder. Harry being Harry he has to help prove the man's innocences. So adventure begins. A hunt for a monster that has been lurking in the woods for thousands of years. Finishing up the second story probably tonight. Oh to have that much time:(

September 21, 200915 yr Author comment_40098 New Spring, Robert Jordan. I've also read the companion book to the Wheel of Time - trying to make it last out until November when the new one comes out, I don't think it'll work though I expect to finish it soon. Also reading Lorna Doon by RD Blackmoor, this will take me ages though as I'm only reading it at home, not on the train.
September 26, 200915 yr comment_40163 Still reading Feist, bit bored of it too be honest I mean come on Pug's being going for about 200 years now! Read 1-4 of the Dark Tower which I'm loving by the way, really enjoyable books and hope it keeps with it. :D:D:p:grin::grin::grin:
September 27, 200915 yr comment_40168 Reading "Adventures of Mr Maximillian Bacchus & His Traveling Circus" by Clive Barker Maximillian Bacchus is the ringmaster, ruler, guide and owner of what he considers the greatest show in the world. Traveling with a Crocodile named Malachi, a trapeze girl named Ophelia, a strong mane they call Hero, which is short for Hieronymus a clown named Domingo de Ybarrondo, who paints in a wagon pulled by a giant “Ibis bird,” the troupe wanders from adventure to adventure with mythic aplomb. From the first story, in which Indigo Murphy, the best bird handler in the world leaves the show to join in matrimony with the Duke Lorenzo de Medici, to the fabled court of Kubla Khan, the magic never stops. You will meet a young apple thief named Angelo with magic eyes, and an orang-outang named Bathsheba, and a host of other amazing characters with names and personas cut like a patchwork quilt from the mythologies and dreams of the world.
October 2, 200915 yr Author comment_40229 Ooh, that sounds interesting, sounds like it'll be quite humurous.
October 2, 200915 yr comment_40246 Patient Zero - Jonathan Maberry Awesome book, mixture of sci-fi, horror and terrorist crime. Reading it for the second time. Deb's, you need to check out the Pine Deep trilogy by Maberry, they're great. Zombie's, Werewolves, vampires, cops etc. If you can't get hold of them let me know and I'll post you mine.

And, if I'm not mistaking I think the second one is hard to find.
October 4, 200915 yr comment_40259 I have the first book but never got around to reading it. And, if I'm not mistaking I think the second one is hard to find. No problem on Amazon over here, not sure about in the states though.
October 4, 200915 yr comment_40260 Just finished Harry and the Pirates, as to be expected Mr. Lumley at his best. Last couple of pages really get you thinking....... Thiught i would go back and re-reading The Talisman, it's a few years since i read it. Next is going to be The Stand, and if i can get it in hard back for a reasonable price i'll try It again since i've lost my softback edition.
October 5, 200915 yr Author comment_40273 Recently finished Thinner, Stephen King. I know it's an old one but I haven't read it before. It was good, but the ending quite predictable. I've just started to re-read The Seson of Passage, Christopher Pike. I love this book, it's one of my non-Lumley favourites!
October 5, 200915 yr comment_40287 Two of my favorite Kings' The Talisman, which I would like to read again and Thinner which I read, listened to on audio & watched the movie.
October 11, 200915 yr comment_40381 I forgot to add The Strain by Guilermo Del Toro, pretty good actually.
