October 23, 200916 yr Author comment_40515 Ok, so here is the information on Subterranean Press' website: (And I now have both on order as well ) Necroscope: The Plague-Bearer by Brian Lumley (preorder—to be published in April 2010) Illustrated by Bob Eggleton Trade: $35 ISBN: 978-1-59606-272-6 Limited: $60 Length: 184 pages Subterranean Press is proud to announce a brand-new, 50,000 word Necroscope novella by Brian Lumley, illustrated throughout by Bob Eggleton. This volume is being designed to match our deluxe edition of the original novel. Harry Keogh is moving on. Though the search for his missing wife and child continues, his heart now lies in Edinburgh with Bonnie Jean—a beautiful Scottish werewolf whose friendly pack and flourishing pub have given him a place he can almost call home. But from the rocky heights of Sicily, the diabolical Francezci brothers plot the wolf-pack’s destruction; and down in the terrible Pit beneath Le Manse Madonie, an ancient evil schemes. The vampires conspire. They reach a decision. They choose a vector. Mafia thug Mike Milazzo is no good to anyone, anytime, anywhere…which makes him perfect. Disposable. The brothers infect him with a deadly poison—an engineered plague that even a werewolf could never survive—and they offer him a terrible bargain: successfully contaminate the wolf-pack, and receive the antidote. Fail, and die! Mike has everything to lose. So does Harry Keogh. But the Necroscope lost everything once before, and he isn’t about to do it again… Limited: 250 signed numbered copies, bound in leather, with different dust jacket art and design than the trade edition Trade: Fully cloth bound hardcover edition Report

October 24, 200916 yr Author comment_40522 is this going to be on Amazon? is this a continuation or a remake of the lost years? Amazon usually does a good job of carrying Sub Press' books - just won't be on there probably until closer to the publication date... I will have links on here for it through Amazon too when it is ready. And it looks like more Lost Years story from what I can see... Report

October 24, 200916 yr Author comment_40532 Very nice......quick question, when pre-ordering is payment taken straight away or when books are sent......getting budget sorted for Christmas. Can't remember off the top of my head but I think payment is straight away. (I checked my credit card statement but nothing showed yet since it was a friday afternoon when i ordered) Here is the link to Sub Press' info page and you can call or email them to make sure. http://www.subterraneanpress.com/orderinformation If you aren't worried about getting a limited edition, you should be safe waiting until it (trade edition) is released. October 28, 200916 yr comment_40559 is this going to be on Amazon? is this a continuation or a remake of the lost years? It's obviously another story set within the Lost Years. brilliant artwork as usual Yes, I love the cover art too. It looks like the first cover depicts Radu Lykan - not Dr Seuss' Grinch, which it first struck me as The second cover looks like a painting of Angelo Francezci, the thing in the pit, with one of his sons - Anthony, I assume. Roll on Spring 2010. Necropaedia Report
November 17, 200916 yr comment_40685 hmmmm. im not so sure about Radu. i mean yeah the picture looks like that could be fur, but i dont recall Radu missing an eye.....or did he lose one? Report

December 12, 200916 yr comment_40853 i just read the overview and i think its gonna be a good read, but at the same time kinda hard to picture right now. the lost years seemed pretty..... thorough? with what happened in harrys lost years , at least where harry and the wolf pack were concerned.
