At a guess if you are the only one to get intertainment out of this then I do not think that this is a problem however if you start sharing out the story you write then that is where the problem starts at a guess you will need to get permission even if you are sharing it with friends. Mr Lumley's stories are copyrighted. Just my thoughts on the matter. Report

I approached Brian about initiating some Necroscope fan fiction some years ago and he was dead against it. I guess he feels it might detract from his body of work.
