I stumbled onto this site an hour or two ago while looking for some Primal Lands information. Now am looking forward to getting the Compleat Crow and those Primal Lands collections, but I may have to wait until my wife gives me my allowance. I didn't even know those books existed. I've liked the Necroscope saga for as long as I can remember; especially starting around The Source when Harry was really coming into his own and before his descent into darkness. That being said I've really enjoyed the whole Crow/Dreamlands world ever since I got the . It is simply engrossing and massive. Update- Just got all 3 volumes of the Primal Lands for 12 bucks. Sweet.

Welcome fellow Lumlian good to hear that you are enjoying the them'hedra (Spelling?) stuff as many people find out there is more to Brian's work than just the necroscope saga. I must admit to enjoying it myself all those years ago, the dream lands stuff is great as well Hero and Eldin's adventure are pretty funny too.

Welcome Crow, glad you got such a bargain, hope you enjoy them as much as i did/am. Hope to hear a lot more from you.

Thanks for the welcome gents! I feel almost silly just finding this site now as I've considered Lumley to be tops for over half of my life. This is definitely one of those better later than never situations.

Edit: What is a subscriber?

Quick question, didn't want to double post.

Okay, that makes sense. I don't see anything about how to become one or any info like that so I wasn't sure. I'm surprised there aren't more members here. You guys have a facebook fan page and all that jazz? Or is this something a bit more clandestine? Seems like with a few million copies of his book flying around that myself and the two thousand plus that are already here wouldn't be the only enthusiasts out there. Or is that an active member count? I don't want to come across the wrong way, but I am just really surprised there isnt a ton more people here.

That being said it did take me over ten years to stumble across this place and I'm not too fond of most people so I'm not sweating it too bad.

I'm surprised too! :) Actually, the forum goes in stages. There will be a lot of activity and then it will die off, then pick up again. Real life always seems to get in the way. I'll be honest and admit I also tend to keep a tight reign on things and keep the discussions on topic and Lumley-related. Off topic stuff is available here for subscribers/Elite Lumlians too, but the free stuff needs to be relevant - fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it.

If you need any help or have any other questions, let me know and welcome to the site! I'm sure others will help out too if they can, as you can already see! :)

Welcome Titus,

Enjoy the journey

Welcome Titus, glad you could make it.

Do you want to tell us a little about yourself, like maybe what Lumley do you like best (I'm guessing possibly the Titus Crow stuff!) or how long you've been a dedicated reader? You don't have to but it helps us to get to know you!

As usual, a womans inquisitivness comes to the fore:p

Yes i like the Titus Crow series but actully I just started reading his books in December! The first book I got was Haggopian and other stories. The first storie in it was caller of the black which was the first storie I read that had Titus Crow in it. Then I got the Taint and other Novellas which had an awsome storie in it called Born of the Winds! Then I got the Titus Crow book which i read in three days.

Welcome Titus,

Enjoy the journey

When i said enjoy the journey i didn't realise it would be so long. But if you stick with it you are in for a fantastic reading experience. Let us know how you are getting along and if we can help out with anything, books, info and alround general stuff, then we're here to help.

I know that i have a spare copy of the re-released Tor edition of Necroscope III, The Source if you want it drop me a line and i'll send it to you.

I first got into Brian Lumley via the necroscope books but soon found the world of Titus Crow thanks to the reprints via grafton books and then the primal lands stuff via the library and Hero and Edlin thanks to the wonders of amazon though was first introduced to them through one of the later Crow books but what I meant to say was the if you enjoyed the Crow stuff then I think that the necroscope saga will blow you away. This is where Brian really came into his own.

I do hope you read his other stuff I do not think that you will be disappointed.

Weird that Titus Crow and Crow started on opposite ends of the spectrum and still arrived here. The Source may be my favourite Necroscope novel, well favorite as far as Harry is concerned.

You do realized that reading Necroscope could lead to reading 12 more books in the series not counting several short stories.

Yes I did know that there are 14 Necroscope books not including the short stories. But I almost got it but THEY SOLD OUT! Luckily they have more coming.
