Seriously, it seem like we all need to band up and blast the crud out of someone to get Necroscope pushed either as a series, or a movie trilogy, before everyone else jumps on the bandwagon and Hollywood looks at it like "Meh, another vampire/Underworld/X-files/Supernatural spin-off attempt *shrug*. Not interested."

Jeez. I hope not. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing a sparkly Wamphyri who goes the whole 'diamond skin' route...and is promptly pegged out in the sunlight to let the diamond facets amplify the sunlight :D .

But honestly, between "Underworld", "Vampire Diaries", "True Blood"....there won't be any room left for Necroscope unless someone signs up for a big-budget, multi-part movie/series soon. It's going to end up played out and cliched, and of no interest to any of the big studios.

Agreed. Necroscope has been under option for so long... it missed the boat for the last wave of vampire interest (Underworld) and now that vampires are popular again, however wussy they may be(!), this really needs a big push, with an awesome screenplay.

BTW, I'm not having a go at anyone involved here... but there's a gem waiting to be polished here, Holloywood needs to wise up and realise that there's a whole load of vampire fans who don't want all the sparkly emo-crap excuses for vampirism that is around at the moment!

I've been hearing about the possibility of a movie since the mid 90's... WTF? The vampires are better, there's enough stories to make a series, & the CGI can do the Wamphyrie justice! What's Hollywood waiting for?!
