Posted September 2, 20177 yr comment_43554 I read the original five books years ago. I've been buying up all the other books recently (just need Plague-Bearer, Mobius Murders and Pirates). Before I start reading them all, in which order would you recommend? I see that Lost Years Vol.1 and Vol. 2 were released after Blood Wars, but someone said they take place between Vamphyri and The Source. I saw an older thread that someone replied with a link, but I can't get that link to work. Bonus question: Are the three books I have left to buy worth getting? Thanks! Kyle
November 14, 20177 yr comment_44545 I have reread all the necroscope series many times, and ive always read the lost years after necroscope 5. But as you mentioned, the lost years takes place after book two. I would say its a matter of preference what order you read them. The lost years contain a few spoilers from 3,4, and 5, but since youve read them, it wont matter. Next time i read them i do intend to read them after 2. Concerning mobius murders etc, i only recently read these. Although i enjoyed them all, i found them a mixed bag. But theyre worth getting, just to complete the harry keogh story
November 14, 20177 yr comment_44546 One other thing, the pirates is 6 short stories, and plague and mobius novellas. Just in case you think that its novels that you will be getting. All stories set during the lost years. Hope this helped
November 24, 20177 yr comment_44609 my first was Nec. IV- i thought the cover was cool. took me 6 tries to read the first page but I got his style down after that. loved it, loved the writing, stories, pathos, everything! without him, i never would have had a bridge from Stephen King, to NOTHING, to ANYTHING, ever, potentially. Because of him, I can now proudly say safely, I've read a wide chunk of American Fiction Literature Greats, so-to-speak. I'm still reading. Trying. I actually have begun the Thomas Jefferson Autobiography, and I was so moved when he began to write about The Declaration of Independence, I have decided to only read it so far as I've memorized it, hence. HEHEHE. I'm pretended to write in English English a bit. HEHEHE.
