August 25, 200124 yr comment_892 There's always lots of talk about a Necroscope movie. Opinions are divided - as they should be With a subject so close to the hearts of many, it's always a tough call. With the recent re-release of Psychomech from Tor, what would be your thoughts on a film version of this fine book ? Would Psychomech be too 'weird' for Hollywood and the unsuspecting public? Who would you cast as Corporal Richard Allan Garrison? or Willy Koenig, or Thomas Schroeder? Your thoughts, please [ 08-25-2001 04:42 PM: Message edited 1 time, lastly by SpOOkshow ] Report
August 26, 200124 yr comment_893 There's only one thing I'd say about a Psychomech movie - that's that I'd have to play Phillip Stone. Not only because his first name's spelt properly, but because I want to be the person who facilitates the three or four day working week! Aside from that - for an actioner like it would have to be I nominate John McTiernan for director, has to be, no question! Catch ya soon! Report
August 27, 200124 yr comment_894 Hmm.. you know, this might work for a movie. But as far as actors to play the parts... unknowns would be better. Good idea though Spook! Report
August 28, 200124 yr comment_895 Pybob, I totally disagree with your choice of director. I think it would have to be either Tim Burton or Sam Raimi. Later, TOps [ 08-28-2001 08:43 AM: Message edited 1 time, lastly by Goat Herder - Tops ] Report
August 28, 200124 yr comment_896 How about the whole done by computer graphics as in "final fantasy" the movie. that would be really smart, then its a case of who you get to do the voices rather than act the parts. think it would be much better, darker and better FX? Report
