Shadoe with his Shaithis bust and diorama set up all neat and tidy in a curio cabinet with his copy of The Source. So I've decided to start a thread for anyone who'd like to show off what they've got. Now I know that not everyone is a 'Neccie' like me, (Get it? Neccie...Trekkie) but I want to see your collections. Big or small, common or rare, good condition or bad. It doesn't matter. Books, comics, games, posters, or whatever you have. It's not a contest, just a place to show off and be proud. Five years ago mine consisted of 6 paperbacks and The Last Aerie in hardcover...Whatever you've got, let's see it. "Anorakishativatoriness" not required... (GWB Jr. joke ) Here is my first bit to show off...it's the one wall in the house that my wife gives me free reign. She calls it, The Wall of Evil! It has some of my most prized books...and stuff. ...that little guy in the middle was formerly known as Man-Bat from the Batman Beyond series...now he's known as Wamus of the Wamphyri!

I´m not taking any piccies of my collection until I´ve decorated that room (!), but I have taken a pic of the Paul S. picture that I have hanging over my fireplace... can´t remember the file name right now, but I´ll post it when I get back home!

Ah well...maybe I'll rearrange my Wall of Evil someday... Here's the rest of my hardcover collection for you fans of other authors... I'll spare you the paperbacks...just picture a stack of eight big full boxes underneath five very disorganized piles of books in a dirty garage...

June 5, 200124 yr comment_6768 If I ever get a decent camera, perhaps I'll try to get a couple of pictures of my Lumley collection! The best I could do was get a close-up of a few books with my video camera and then paste them together. And you still can't really read anything but the titles on them . . .
July 28, 200123 yr comment_6769 I happened upon this little auto-accessory by accident, and I may be showing you something that you are all privy-to...but WTH. Forgive me, but I didn't know where else to stick-it...so you can tell me where-to-stick-it, if you like...lol. This is just so cute, and I think that they run about $40 and are compatible to other vehicles, besides the illustrated Miata.

The Wall of Evil has changed quite a bit recently...I'll try to get pictures up soon.

I could go on a list more anthologies with short stories, but I would go mad.... and I am only going through the rarer stuff in my mind. I might p[ost some pics, but someone here at work toook the right rotten piss when I was looking, so I am not posting piccies, well not yet at any rate.... Later, TOps ps. my collection must run in at very near 60 or more titles.... and it's growing all the time. Basically in the last 3 years I've bought about 120 books, most of which have been rare titles, not only lumley though!

But I couldn't doze off - I could hear them all through the long night whispering from between their covers, calling to me, telling me to do monstrous things - calling on me to get the fire axe, to write REDRUM on the walls... All through the darkness chittering away, stealing what remains of my sanity! . . . . . . . . Then I had a cuppa and a fag and everything was ok again!
