Thanx Tops, I was looking for somewhere to get them. I looked inside the cover of Vamphyri and it was by 'Gaylord' but they only sell them by the hundred i think. I will google Brodart and see if I can get me some for the rest of the HCs.

I think they look better protected as well.

I use the Gaylord for my books. It can be a little confusing finding what you want to use, but you should use them if your going to invest in your books.

You'll probably have buy a hundred or so but it's worth it.

I use #10 adjustible for books 9 1/8 to 10" high

I joined photobucket, it makes this so much easier. My blurry pic of Necroscope HC is on the previous page, sorry about the crappy pic. again, and thanx Shadoe for help with the pics until I worked it out.

I used the brodart as that's what all the pros that sell to me use, so it can't be that bad ;)

I refuse to wrap my books in gaylord on account of it being a really stupid name.

Haha, it is a bit off-putting.

When I took the cover off to check it out I saw the word Gaylord, I was...W.T.F???

Then again it is just a name....isn't it??

Managed to finally get hold of 16 Sucking Stories last week. Wish I'd got it when it first came out, would have been cheaper:rolleyes:

It's not the one off ebay Kenny. Larry Roberts at Bloodletting Press found it for me.

Funny thing is, including the one I got, I Know of 3 that were up for sale at roughly the same time. Haven't seen 1 for over a year before that

I won a Lettered Terminal on ebay a while back John, from the guy that made the case. he was kind enough to put the NEP ticket in and a small cloth flag.

The ticket originally came with the Lettered edition of 'In The Midnight Museum' by Gary Braunbeck. Mines one of only three painted "scream yellow". I think they chose white for the release version.

Didn't you get a BLP bookmark with an order then?

NO. There wasn't anythink I wanted or needed at the time and it also wasn't a good time for me to be buying something I didn't really need. My lost.

and I didn't get in on the NEP novella lettered until Take The Long Way Home

I just have more books on shelves. Not much thats noteworthy...but this might interest some...post-472-0-72197600-1390684935_thumb.jpg

Its the Malibu comic run, framed and hangining in my den. The framed copies are lower quality versions of the good books I've bagged and boarded in dark storage. I also have the complete run of the Caliber books, but I don't like their cover art as much.

Looks real good. I just might have to steal that idea from you.

It's dead simple.  They were off-the-shelf frames from Michael's (a hobby/craft goods store in the US).  I just added some simple planks of mat board behind the books and sandwiched them between the glass and backing materials. No glue, no cutting, and no damage to the books.

I have another, bigger, project in mind to display an original manuscript/draft of The Source I've got.  I want to build an "easle" of some type and a glass or plexi display case. Maybe mount the whole thing on a plinth of some type.

That's waiting in the wings along with a project I've been contemplating on how to display a proof strike of one of the bas relief tiles Sideshow Collectibles released from Aliens Vs. Predator by Lance Henriksen.
