Got a few gigs lined up in the next coupla months... Elektrofest headlined by top German bleepers Covenant (and for some reason, Siobhan Fahey :( ), then a week later is the Whitby Goth Weekend. Gotta feel sorry for the people of Whitby... ordinary seaside town most the year, but twice a year is invaded by a plethora of assorted freaks! Then early May I'm celebrating the return of Katscan to London, yay!

But apologies to Deano and Mazrah... won't be able to go out to play at the end of the month, as we're not in London that weekend (been double booked, doh)

By the way, any ideas of the collective noun for Goths? A sadness of Goths? A calamity? oh dear...

Maybe its a scourge of goths or a cloud? Yay Whitby! No gigs for me atm as have no job and no money :( hoping to see Reading or Ozzfest later on though.

As for CD's i am currently obssessed with the new AFI album-Sing the Sorrow, yummy Daveyness plus slight metal and industrial additions! I have been known to also slip in a bit of the Smiths though.

Relaxin', dippin ma' toes to jacuzi, be-be!

Listenin' to The "D". "Wonderboy" has just finished playing.

Saw Tenacious D at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange last weekend. ROCK!

Shroom.

Gotta love Tenacious D...

Listening to the Ramsey Lewis Trio right now, had Mark Thomas in South Wales last week so got to see him (no music, except for a Clash CD playing while we were waiting for him to take the stage...)

Been up in a dodgy Holiday Inn in Glasgow this week and haven't had much time to do anything except listen to 1001 tracks on the 12 hour journey up and the 8 hour trip back...

Ok no laughing, but I'm listening to the soundtrack to the movie Chicago. The movie was great and in listening to the cd, I can picture it all over again in my mind. :D

hey guys... i've been wanted to do a mass playlist for a while, and now I have the chance... so far only 13 hours worth of music in that... but it's getting ever bigger as I copy my music CDs to the computer...

Ok so that's 20 albums at 13 hours... I have somewhere between 300-350 cds... that would be.... calculating..... 227.5 hours... that's a lot of music... it's almost 10 days worth with out a break... what a real joy:)

On the other side I bought the new Linkin' Park album today, listening to it now... not bad so far as I'd heard mixed reviews. I was going to buy the new cardigans album, but saw it too late :( I guess that'll be next on the hit list...

Planning to buy (in the next 2 months) the new Blur (Think Tank), the new Stereophonics (You Gotta Go There to Come Back), and possibly the new Metallica album, although that does depend on what I hear from real people and not reviews... I haven't bought a Metallica album since the black one, which I for one was disapointed with.

wow I've written an essay!

later,

Always happy to be of service to our friends from across the Pennines .... the second time in 4 years we've given them assistance against the Wenger Boys!!

I am about to put Never Mind the Bollocks by the Sex Pistols on the stereo ...which includes the track 'Liar' ;)

MARK VIDUKA!!!

I am currently listning to Live, Papa Roach and Eminem. A friend (the same who got me hooked on Necroscope ;) ) suggested I listen to Live and Papa Roach, and I'm liking what I hear! :D

Just had Auntie's Cricket theme playing - it has a proper name but I can't remember it...

Just got a Rammstein album (after watching the opening scenes to xXx I had to improve my collection of their tunes - shame about the rest of the flick!) so I've been listening to their gentle German ballads...

...Oh and the Medical Love song from Monty Python... tongue.gif

THerapy? That's a band I haven't listened to for years.... I never really got into troublegum as I found that the like of Nurse, and the other 2 earlier albums (I think they were compiled on Caucasian Psychosis), had a much grittier sound... which I prefered (potato junkie being a favourite song). Are they still going?

Tops I have no idea if Therapy are still going, they had a new album out a couple of years a go but I can't remember what it was called and haven't heard anything since. It got mixed reviews so I never got aroung to buying it.

I really like Troublegum though, could be because I didn't hear any of their earlier stuff before or because I encouraged Andy's old band to cover Knives and he did the whispering at the begining of the song, he scared some girl in the audience and remembering the look on her face alway makes me laugh!

I actualy saw an advert for a therapy gig in Manchester soon.

currently on my CD player.. is dare I say it, Trance Nation. im in a dancy music phase at the moment
