Not sure Cank's but I do know that it was the trog Karen re-animated to feed upon before Harry interupted her.

Not to sure if she was vamparised though, I think she was just in thrall to Karen as some of the togs were to the wamphyri and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a name mentioned, but I could be wrong.

it's like i said above, the trog came back from the battle, freed karen, then died from what ever reasons due to the battle and her travel back to the aerie. then karen dressed her in her best white dress and.....

when Faethor tell Harry about Belos he said that he wasn't the first and wouldn't be the last,but i don't remember any mention of any others being sent through before Belos.
Canker could very well be right about the troll, unless he's thinking about the troll Harry talked to under the gate, but Belos went through before the other names mentioned, they went through in about 500 AD

Correct me if I'm wrong here but wasn't Belos just another name that Nonari the Gross used to hide from Radu and the others once he was banished from Starside?
He became a Roman senator but due to his deformed hand, he was found out to be Nonari.

Unless Belos came after Nonari. But I believe Nonari was the first Ferenc to come thru the gate.

The thrall of Shaitan mentioned was banished thru the gate eventually but I believe it was the trog thrall that was blinded by the gate that stumbled against it and was sucked away when Shaitan and his crew made the eastern trek that was the first recorded.
