war gauntlet

the wamphari always had their war gauntlets but the descriptions in the books were rather vauge. im attempting to build one and id like to know what others think it should look like, what kind of mechanism the szangy would be able to make so that when a lord closed his hand into a fist the spikes and hooks would spring out. anybody got an idea what a gauntlet would look like?

Very good idea, I actually agreeing with Canker.

...But the punches would always pop out when the fist was closed, likewise with the tightening of the hooks. I'd advise examining those old childrens' toys. Those terminator things where you would pull the fingers closed, and the little hooks would pop out.

Just try a simply pulley cord idea. Like, a cord on the inside that would be connected to the middle knuckle, that when pulled taut, it would pull everything else the same. That's if that would even work, of course.
