I am going on holiday next week to Edinburgh, just for a week but I can't wait. It's somewhere I've never been and always wanted to go to and I could really do with the break!
Just wondering if anyone else has any holidays booked yet?

Edinburgh is a great place Silver. I really like it. I've been there 3 times now:) There are some amazing places to eat, and some amazing places to go... the zoo is pretty good!!! watch out for the skanky lion and mental polar bear though

Been to Germany once already this year (Berlin and Leipzig), and have had my next trip to Leipzig booked since last July! So off there on June 1st and flying back on June 6th (flying on 6/6/6...? Not my best idea ever!).
Also off to Germany for a third time in August (Hildesheim), and debating whether to squeeze in another trip to Sweden later in the year as I still have some holiday left.
You're a busy gal this month Silver, what with your weekend chez Alton soon! smile.gif

I am indeed... the name 'Deborah' means a bee, so is all true!
I'm not counting my weekend in Bradford in August as a holiday, as it's not somewhere I'd ever choose to go... shame it's such a damned good music festival!

Well, at the end of the month, I'll be visiting family-types in Moorhead, MN (next to Fargo for those who've seen that movie). Not exactly the vacation capital of the States, but it's away from work and home.
There's a most likely-possible trip to Warsaw, Poland next year with my better half. We'd be visiting his family and it'd be my first real trip out of the States. (5 mins in Mexico doesn't count) I hope it happens. *girly squeal*

On a 999 ? Cool but sore arse ! Two weeks slobbed in the sun in Lanzarote in October, never used to enjoy just lying around getting melanomas but age has given it an appeal. Cant wait.

Italy is beautiful, I went there on a family holiday as a kid. No idea which part, I really can't remember but the scenery is exceptional and the sea is beautiful!
Watch out for crazy tourists on hired scooters though!

I just got back from Monza. Milan's a bit industrial but once you're out of it it's great. And the drivings an experience, if you want preparation just rent a mad max dvd. I did enjoy it though:)
