The Viaduct is now online

Brian's reading of The Viaduct is now on the site in the Media section in Windows Media format. It is a large file, but well worth the download. Running just over 35 minutes long, it comes in at 26 MB, but it is a nice resolution.

I did encode the file in Real format, but the quality is just not there. The video is shaky and the audio is muddled. I do believe Windows Media will be the standard for the site from now on unless I find something better.

Super fast work to get this out here for us all! I just watched the first couple of minutes and it looks fine to me. Leave the video size alone and it's really clear. Blowing it up to full screen size naturally makes it a little blocky but really it was better than I thought it might be. The sound is really clear . . . the only thing is I'm getting a little tinny background noise every now and then. But overall, I think it's great.
