How do you climb the ladder of vampiredom?

Is it based on a number of posts or if you like someone?

You become a Lieutenant after a certain number of posts. Basically, you participate, you reap rewards (however small). However, if you post garbage just to ascend, you will be booted or your posts deleted which amount to the same thing. http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/smile.gif You become Wamphyri only by divine intervantion - meaning either Silky or myself deem it necessary.

I thought as much about the number of posts, personally i would rather be a <font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">god of eld</font> than a wamphyri... personal preference I suppose.

Can you become a necroscope??? WOuld that be the highest ranking person etc etc etc.

Anything that doesn't belong in a forum, thread or on the board for that matter. Basically, it's up to my discretion, but it's obvious that if you post over 30-some messages in one day - and in a very short time period - you're just trying to improve rank if you are a newbie. And a lot of these posts where people are just chatting back and forth with witless comments....will be gone in a month or so when i do cleanup. No offense - but they take a lot of space for not having anything really to do with Brian or his work. http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/smile.gif
